School of Law - Moot Courtroom
Alpha were commissioned to Design, Manufacture and install a bespoke Moot Courtroom in the new UU Belfast campus.
This Moot Courtroom enables students to gain practical experience in presenting cases in a real-life courtroom setting, take part in trials, act as a representative for the parties and learn how to conduct themselves in a court of law. Alpha worked closely with the School of Law Team who guided us in the finer details of Courtroom protocol.
We developed a Judge's bench on a raised Dias complete with a feature slatted timber wall cladding with the School of Law Crest. The scheme incorporated a Witness box, prosecution and defence benches completed the formal setting for the Moot court.
Integrated tabletop USB power modules for each user plus specified and supplied complimentary leather courtroom seating. The scheme was completed with 50 Mobile student chairs c/w writing tablets.
