Danske Bank

The NI Danske Bank headquarters in Belfast is a well established facility in the heart of the city, the Board made the decision to adopt a more collaborative and activity based approach to their departments during a major refurbishment. Naturally the bank needed to maintain it’s serious side, so the look and feel had to be contemporary but also functional, Alpha created different spaces for different uses, including informal meeting areas in open spaces, standing height tables for team meetings, glazed acoustic meeting pods complete with integrated AC and LED lighting. These areas enable staff to choose their work location depending on the task they want to achieve, central print hubs complete with acoustic sound soak wall panels incorporating recycling bins. Feature accent carpet area highlight and define zones and full height stretched fabric graphics of Northern Ireland iconic landmarks help anchor the international bank in its Belfast location and creating a sense of calm on a busy banking floor.
