Overview

Based at Hamilton, Lanarkshire, the project objective was to create a truly innovative, dynamic and collaborative new university campus with state-of-the-art learning facilities – all within an eight-week time-frame. Comprised of three existing buildings which were innovatively linked together by a ‘street’, the Lanarkshire campus hosted an array of inspiring, flexible learning and teaching spaces packed with rich technology, giving staff and students access to some of the most modern university facilities in the UK.

The campus was designed to immerse students and staff in the educational experience, featuring seating and desking, storage and lockers. The University campus now seamlessly integrates industry and academia allowing for mutually beneficial partnerships between students, staff and local businesses.

Architect for main buildings was HAA Design in Glasgow; The Street was designed by Graven Images; 3 Fold were the independent FF & E consultants
